Three Years Running, Sunrider Sponsors AIDS Walk Los Angeles

AIDS Walk Los Angeles is an annual event which supports AIDS Project Los Angeles and other AIDS service organizations across Los Angeles County, and is one of the largest AIDS fundraising events in the country. This year, which marked the event’s 25th anniversary, raised $3,146,206 in funds to fight AIDS, and some 30,000 people walked the 6.2-mile route to bring further awareness to the disease.

For the third consecutive year, Sunrider International was a proud sponsor of the 10k walkathon, held this year on October 18 in West Hollywood, California. Oi-Lin® Sunmilk sunscreen products were also donated for event participants. Twenty Five IBOs and their families formed a Sunrider team and participated as well.
Christina Sjoblom, an Assistant Business Leader from West Hills who completed the walk with her upline, Debbie Clydesdale, a Business Leader from Redondo Beach, said, “At the beginning of the walk, I was like ‘oh my gosh, how am I going to complete this?,’ but I just kept drinking my Fortune Delight®, and it just got easier. The participants were very diverse, and the walk was just a ton of fun! I am so proud of myself!” Christina was just one of many Sunriders who completed the walkathon!

Thanks to all who came out and showed their support!
