P.P. Arnold---A Beautiful Voice for Sunrider

P.P. Arnold is an American-born soul singer who has enjoyed considerable success in the United Kingdom and worldwide since the 1960s. In her long career she has toured the world and sung alongside famous artists such as Ike and Tina Turner, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, The Kinks, and Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, to name but a few. It is our pleasure to feature P.P. Arnold in our Business Update.

People always ask P.P. how she stays so energetic and keeps her skin flawless and wrinkle-free. She says, “It’s very important for me to maintain a regular fitness program...I make sure my workout regimen is ongoing and rewarding.” For P.P., Sunrider also plays a vital role in her health and well-being.

Following a traumatic car accident in 1994, P.P. was introduced to Sunrider. After doctors recommended steroids and said she’d never run or dance again, P.P. took charge of her own recovery: “After a few years of hard work, I was back on my feet again and running a couple of miles a day. I was happy with the progress that I had made, but it had taken a lot out of me, and although I was eating well and taking supplemental vitamins and minerals, my energy levels were still not where I wanted them to be...I was lucky to meet a yoga teacher who also introduced me to Sunrider® nutrition. Sunrider Skeptic Turned Success Story

When 33-year old Josh Jarrell’s wife, IBO Kendra Jarrell, first introduced their family to Sunrider, Josh easily replaced a diet soda habit with Calli® and Fortune Delight®, but was stubborn when it came to food. “I was resistant to NuPlus® and Quinary®. Before joining Sunrider, I weighed more than 70 kg (154 lbs)! I had no confidence in myself and hated the very sight of bathroom scales. It was a sad and unhappy period in my life. Born into an Italian family where the “language of love was food,” Michelle Rynning of Broken Arrow, OK, says, “We ate when we were happy, we ate when we were sad, or bored, depressed, etc. So I was overweight as a child and then transitioned into a morbidly obese woman. At one point I tipped the scales at 242 lbs. on my 5’ 5 ½” frame, and wore a size 22.”

Carol Wilhelm wasn’t obese—she didn’t need to lose a massive amount of weight and she wouldn’t have made an ideal contestant on The Biggest Loser. But she did need to lose 25 lbs.—pounds that snuck up on her slowly and were affecting her upbeat personality.

Bill Hughes is a fun loving man, but twenty years ago that part of him seemed to be slipping away. “I felt far older than I should have. ‘Old folk’ ailments were prematurely with me and no fun. I thought maybe at my age it was supposed to be that way—always feel old, uncomfortable, and unhappy. I had no energy, either. I could not get enough sleep; even with a nap before going to bed and sometimes one at noon. And I was a ‘couch-potato’ on weekends.”

Six years ago, when I was just 35 years old, I was overweight, tipping the scales at 104 kilograms (about 229 lbs). In fact, when I was only 25, my SGPT (Serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase) levels were so elevated I couldn’t even donate blood. Eventually, I was diagnosed with diseases such as ventricular hypertrophy, hypertension, and paroxysmal tachycardia.

SR Teen Chooses New Path, Better Health

Alex Eastburn was only eight years old when her parents began using Sunrider® products, but she wasn’t exactly thrilled with it.
