On Thursday, February 11, as the Olympic torch passed through Port Coquitlam, home of Sunrider Canada, local Sunrider IBOs (among the crowd of thousands) dressed in red and white as they waved Canadian flags and welcomed the Olympic flame to their community. The sight of the torch brought on overwhelming feelings of joy, pride, excitement, and the reality that the Olympic Games were starting in Vancouver, BC, in just two days. The torch relay traveled 28,000 miles and visited more than 1,000 communities while being carried by 12,000 torch bearers.
Sheryl Fitzharris of Vancouver, BC, said, “Today was amazing! We set our intention that Sunriders were going to have a photo with the Olympic torch and we did it! When the torch bearer appeared with the flame, I was reminded that life is about dreams, vision, and commitment, and these athletes worked hard and realized their dream to be here competing on the world stage. We just need to use the same formula in our SR Business and we too can realize our dreams!”
Sunriders Ushi and Dionne Olczak of White Rock, BC, said, “What an experience, here in White Rock, waiting for the flame with our hot Calli® tea, down at the beach. The crowd was so excited and so were we—it really made us proud of our community spirit and all the Olympic athletes!”

It's so wonderful to have people from all over the world here in Vancouver, BC, Canada for the 2010 Olympics.
Also wonderful that Sunrider Canada was involved.
As Sheryl says, it is so inspiring to see people accomplishing their dreams!
