Last week, the Jewish holiday Hanukkah was celebrated in Israel. During every day of Hanukkah, which is celebrated for eight days, it’s customary to light candles in a Hanukkiya or Hanukkah Menorah, to mark the success of the Maccabees rebellion against the Greeks in the second century BC. In celebration of Hanukkah, we held a festive candle-lighting ceremony at the Sunrider Israel offices on Wednesday, December 16 with employees and IBOs. We lit the candles in a special wooden Sunrider Hanukkiya, built by the Jibly family, and during the event, jam-filled doughnuts (which are a traditional Hanukkah food) were handed to all participants. This was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this holiday in a unique and joyful Sunrider atmosphere.
