Red, White, and Blue, Whatever Will You Do?

The 4th of July is just two days away—how are you going to celebrate? Whether you have a beloved Independence Day tradition or you want to shake things up a little this year, there’s many fun and interesting ways to honor this important American holiday.

Plan a Family Get-Together
Round up brothers and sisters, moms and dads, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and in-laws, add a grill, fresh food, a dash of red, white, and blue, and enjoy some quality time with the fam! Cook a delicious and healthy meal on the grill with Dr. Chen® Secret Sauce while the kiddies play and the grown-ups relax and catch-up on life.

Attend a Parade
Everyone loves a good parade, so find one in your area and go! Pack snacks the adults and kids will enjoy like Sunbars and NuPuffs®, bring along water and Sunrider® teas to stay hydrated in the summer sun, don the patriotic stars and stripes and engage in some good ole American fun.

Help a Soldier
Hundreds of thousands of U.S. Troops are stationed overseas, missing the chance to celebrate the holiday with friends and family. You can help them feel more at home by sending a care package! Fill it with Sunrider goodies such as Fortune Delight® and Calli®, VitaShake®, and Sunbreeze® oil! They’ll be happy to receive something that’s good for them from the USA! Anysoldier.com, thecarepackageproject.com, and operationshoebox.com are great resources for this Independence Day project! Do your own research, though, and be creative!

Learn More
It’s easy to forget that the 4th of July is about celebrating America’s independence from Britain, not lake and beach activities, hotdogs and hamburgers, and pool parties. Most of us could stand to learn more about this holiday and the American Revolution. Visit your local library and become more knowledgeable about this extraordinary day in American history. Did you know that most delegates actually signed the Declaration of Independence on July 2? See! Expand your knowledge and visit!

Whatever you choose to do, we here at
Sunrider hope you have a safe and happy holiday! Happy planning!
